Moet & Chandon remains to be the largest House within the region- considerably larger than any of its competitors. Claude Moet was the visionary behind this brand establishing the Maison back in 1743. One of their most famous (or should that be infamous) fans was none other than Napoleon who it is said took bottles of Moet & Chandon wherever he travelled
Tasting Notes
The aromas are intense and irresistible, a lively bouquet of fresh red summer berries (strawberry, raspberry, red currant) with floral nuances (rose, hawthorn) and a light peppery touch. The palate is flamboyant, combining intensity and roundness : fleshy and juicy at first, then firm (fruit stone), with a subtle mint finish.
